This term, we will begin by looking at fiction from our literary heritage in the form of 'Oliver Twist' by Charles Dickens. Following on from that, we will be looking at the life of Dickens and using our research to write biographies. Later in the term, we will be finding out about film narrative and exploring 'The Piano'. Our main non-fiction writing this term will link to explanation texts. Finally, we will be looking at a selection of poetry through two poetry topics this term - 'Poetic Style' and 'Spoken Word Poetry Raps'.
