We wrote a class acrostic poem about poppies and Remembrance Day. We thought carefully about our word choices and also made the poem rhyme.

 

People are remembered on this special day

Open your eyes and you will see

People who suffered for you and me

Poppies are red and worn with pride

You show love and respect to soldiers who died
