We discussed bullying scenarios and how to deal with them in a negative and positive way. We compared these and the children recognised the negative flowchart could result in consequences for them too. They were excellent at correcting it and wrote a positive flowchart about what to do if they were being bullied or if they saw someone else being bullied. They showed a good understanding about what happens after they have reported it.
Next, the class discussed using mindfulness as a power for good. We discussed that positive thoughts lead to positive actions and that being kind to yourself and to others is important.
