We strive to immerse our children with quality texts to develop a love of literature, reading and a good knowledge of a range of authors. We aim to create a positive reading and writing culture in school where both are enjoyed and considered a pleasure for pupils. Our teaching of grammar is purposeful and rooted into the context of their text rich teaching. We expect all children to leave us as fluent readers.
