Women's Euros 2025
The children had the opportunity to learn about the Women's Euros in school this week! They had an assembly where they discussed the importance of women being involved in sports and how this has changed over time. The children were able to identify all the flags of the countries that are taking part in the Women's Euros this year. To follow from this, the children spent Friday afternoon designing kits, trainers, trophies and medals as well as, designing mascots and doing a shared reading lesson learning about the history of women's football.
