In Autumn term, we will begin with the topic 'Living Things and their Habitats'. Our focus in Year 5 is on lifecycles of plants and animals. We will be looking at different types of animals, as well as flowering and non-flowering plants. We will be finding out about how plants reproduce and the role of metamorphosis in different animals' lifecycles. We will be looking at key figures in this biology strand, such as Jane Goodall and David Attenborough.
