Year 3 children will be given literacy and numeracy homework every Friday and it needs to be completed and handed in by the following Wednesday. The homework is set at an age appropriate level, in line with the National Curriculum.

 

If your child does not have time to do their homework, or needs a little extra help, they are welcome to attend the homework club during Tuesday lunch.

Every Friday, the children write the date on the correct pages of their book. I also leave the page numbers on the board all week so children can check that they have done the right page.

 

Over half-term and other holidays, the children will have topic based homework that links to history, geography or science. The children will have a choice of tasks, which allow them to get creative.
