Town Mouse and Country Mouse10.10.16
The mice wanted us to plan a fruit salad for them so we decided what fruits we could make a fruit salad with. We listened carefully to which sounds we could hear at the start of a word.
Look we made mice with shapes after we read the story of the Town Mouse. We used tools to glue and stick the shapes on to paper. We chose our own shapes and talked about the names of the shapes we had chosen.

We thought about the differences between the town and the country! We used some pictures to show things in a town and things in the country. We know there are offices and cinemas in the town whereas in the countryside there are tractors and forests.
