Artist Workshop Day 5/6/18
Sarah Turner is an eco artist who creates spectacular sculptures from recycled plastic. As part of our Artsmark project, the People Express Organisation invited us to join in the celebrations for the Festival of Leisure. We worked with Sarah to create flowers and leaves from recycled plastic bottles and bags. These were then displayed on wooden arches and became part of a flower path walk at the festival. The children in Year 2 and all the junior classes really enjoyed the activities. We extended the activity so that parents and siblings could join in after school too!
