Hello Year 2!
I hope you all had another lovely weekend and that you and your families are safe and well.
Welcome to week 7 of home learning - I hope you are ready for another fun week!
I know it must feel a little strange not being in the classroom but I wanted to let you know how proud of you all I am. I think you have all been 'Amazing Astronauts' throughout the weeks since school closed.
I enjoy seeing your work every day so thank you for working so hard. Thank you to parents/carers for your support too, it is really appreciated.
Enjoy your half term next week - hopefully the weather will be nice.

Wellbeing - Oxford Owl eBook
Oxford Owl have an eBook aimed at helping children understand how to manage their feelings of worry, especially with the current circumstances. I have put the link below if you would like to read it together.
Each day, please can you:
- Read for at least 10 to 15 minutes.
- Practise your weekly spellings. (animal, metal, Monday, nothing, other)
- Practise your times tables for 10 to 15 minutes on Times Tables Rock Stars.
- Do 30-60 minutes of exercise (follow the PE link for ideas).
- Complete the maths and literacy tasks.
- Complete the topic task.
PE with Derbyshire School Games
The School Games Organiser network and Active Derbyshire are working together to create and publish a weekly programme of activities to help children, just like you, to keep active whilst schools are closed and we are having to stay at home.
This week, they have created a series of activities around 'ORIENTEERING'!
