Week 8 1.6.20
Hello Year 6 welcome back after half term. I miss you all and wish we were all in school but the most important thing at the moment is for us all to be safe. Please try your best to challenge yourself at home because then you will continue to make progress. Email me any questions about your learning and I will be happy to help you. Please try to email some work this week and then I can offer you some feedback which will also help you to make progress. I will post you all a video message this week so watch this space!
At home this week.
Try to keep fit at home by doing some PE each day, try Joe Wicks or the Derbyshire PE ideas.
You must Read every day.
Keep practicing your times tables with Rockstars.
Are there any of the Y5/6 spellings you still cannot spell because you should challenge yourself to learn some this week.
Message from your teacher
A super piece of Y6 writing from our NHS heroes writing task.
PE with Derbyshire School Games
The School Games Organiser network and Active Derbyshire are working together to create and publish a weekly programme of activities to help children, just like you, to keep active whilst schools are closed and we are having to stay at home.
This week, they have created a series of activities around 'ATHLETICS'!
Open the document below to find a daily activity and lots of tips and guidance on how to do it. There's a bit of a quiz to get you started, then each day, you'll find a challenge. If you keep scrolling down, you'll find instructions and helpful diagrams to show you what to do.
Why not involve your family? You can all keep active be athletic together?
Don't forget to send photos of how you get on to firstname.lastname@example.org - it's great to see what you are all up to and how you're getting on!
