Lesson 3 - Find durations of time
Today, as you have been used to doing, you will first need to visit the White Rose website for the video. The White Rose website link below will take you to the correct page for Year 2.
Watch the video slides – pause and rewind as you need to. Then, answer the questions on the activity sheets in your exercise book. The answers are there for you to check, too.

Literacy
This week you will be writing your own fiction story (on Friday). First, follow the link below and watch the two videos about different types of stories (you do not need to complete the activities on this link because you will be completing the activities on the next link).
Next, follow the link below and watch the video. Then complete the activities.
Activity 1: Watch the video and then analyse the fairy stories.
Activity 2: Look at the given list and write sentences about your favourite characters.
Activity 3: Take a look at the video to find out how to create a new character. Then try creating one yourself.

Topic - Geography
We will continue with our geography topic this week.
In this lesson, we will be learning all about cities. We will explore the different types of land use, including residential areas and industrial areas, as well as how cities grow and develop.
