Lesson 3 – Compare volume

Today, as you have been used to doing, you will first need to visit the White Rose website for the video. The White Rose website link below will take you to the correct page for Year 2.

Watch the video slides – pause and rewind as you need to. Then, answer the questions on the activity sheets in your exercise book. The answers are there for you to check, too.

You can also visit the BBC website, following the link below, for additional videos and activities on today's lesson if you would like further support with your learning.

In this lesson, we will be learning how to identify and use subordinating conjunctions. You will need a piece of paper and a pencil.

Remember to use your best joined up handwriting.

Follow the link below.

You can send your work to year2@overseal.derbyshire.sch.uk

Topic - Geography

Last week, we used the BBC resource to learn about different types of settlements - cities, towns and villages. This week, we will use the Oak Academy geography lessons to continue learning about settlements.

In this lesson we will be learning all about what a settlement is. We will learn about the key differences between villages, towns and cities and how cities are growing in size and population.

The lesson starts and ends with a quiz. By completing the quizzes, you will be able to recap on previous learning and test your learning from this lesson.
