Maths Hub have repeated some of the length learning for revision but mass later in the week is new. If you follow the BBC link below, it will take you to alternative sheets if you have completed this sheet before. Unfortunately, the BBC don't upload the link and sheets until the day before if you wanted to access these earlier.

Lesson 3 - Four operations with length

Today, as you have been used to doing, you will first need to visit the White Rose website for the video. The White Rose website link below will take you to the correct page for Year 2.

Watch the video slides – pause and rewind as you need to. Then, answer the questions on the activity sheets in your exercise book. The answers are there for you to check, too.

You can also visit the BBC website, following the link below, for additional videos and activities on today's lesson if you would like further support with your learning.

In this lesson, we will be learning how to identify and use powerful verbs and adverbs. This will help us when it comes to writing our action scenes on Friday. You will need to record your work in your exercise book.

I have put some useful slides below.

Follow the link below.

You can email any work to year2@overseal.derbyshire.sch.uk

Topic - Geography

Today, we will be using the BBC resource to help us with our geography learning. Follow the link below.

You will learn about different types of settlements - cities, towns and villages.

First, watch the video about cities, towns and villages. Then watch the video exploring the life of two children living in two different cities: Birmingham and Johannesburg. After that, complete activity 2. Click on the picture of the worksheet for activity 2 and it should open. You need to sort the statements and put the list of items in the columns to show if they can be found in a city, town or village.

You do not need to complete activity 1 unless you want to with an adult at home. Always remember our online safety rules.

You can send your work to year2@overseal.derbyshire.sch.uk
