Morning Shining Stars!

I hope you are all well and are working hard at home! Have a nice Wednesday and keep up the good work!

Joe Wicks is doing a live workout YouTube stream every morning. This will be something fun for you to join in with!

Every day at 11am, David Walliams will be uploading an audio version of one of the stories from World's Worst Children. The link is on our main home learning page but if not I will add it below too!

Today, please can you:

  • Read for at least 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Practise your weekly spellings. (about, all, and, are, as)
  • Practise counting in 2's, 5's and 10's.
  • Do 30-60 minutes of exercise (follow the PE link for ideas).
  • Complete the maths and literacy tasks.
  • Complete the topic task

As an extra activity please have a go at these phonics games I will be setting each day on purple mash.

They will be on your '2dos'

Weight and Mass- Comparing Mass

Please read through and complete the activities on the power point (below). Calculate the answers then reveal if you are correct.

Once you have worked through the power point, you must answer the fluency questions (below). These are split into 3 challenges - just like you are used to. D is challenge 1, E is challenge 2 and GD is challenge 3. Remember, challenge yourself to complete what you can. Please answer these in your exercise book - make a note of the date and question numbers.

After completing the tasks, you can mark your answers (answers available below).

Read the story 'Cinderella' (below)

Log on to Purple Mash.

Retell the story of Cinderella. If you hover over the words on the left, you will be given some ideas to include in your writing. Remember to sound out the words you are writing. Don't forget capital letters and full stops!

Click 2Do 'When I grow up'.

Tell me about what you want to be when you grow up and why. Try and use because in your writing to make it more interesting. Don't forget to use capital letters and full stops.
