Lesson 2 – Multiply decimals by integers

This week we are starting a new topic on fractions.

You need to go click on the video link below which will lead you to, Summer 1 Week 5 because this is the learning we need to cover (don't worry we are not behind).

Today your screen should look like this so make sure you are working from the right page.

Watch the video as many times as you need to. Start the task and then mark your own answers. I have attached the question and answers worksheet below.

Ruin writing from yesterday sent to me!

Literacy: Ruin

Today watch some more of the Ruin video and ask yourself these questions:

Questions to ask

  • When is this story set?  How do we know?
  • What do you think has happened?
  • How did one man survive or are there more?
  • What is trying to stop him and why?
  • What will happen next?

Today Write what the character is thinking as he moves through the landscape.

He may be recalling the events as if they happened in the past. Try to use different verb forms like this example.

I had-Perfect form

Pushing -Progressive

It was a day like any other.  I spent it looking for clues in one of the thousands of Nanotech buildings around Nanosaki. Pushing, the container to the edge of the 87th floor, I watched it fall down.  The noise it made thundered around the empty buildings but there was no one there to hear and it was the only way I was going to get it open.

I switched on the machine and there I was, my own face staring back at me.  It was coming back to me. I needed to get to research facility B.

What was that noise?  I had leave now.

Oh No!   A gyrocopter. I' headed for the tunnels....

Today you could head to David Walliams’ website and start listening to him read Awful Auntie every day. It is free!

Topic- Science

Today I would like to use what you found out yesterday about Isaac Newton to write about him on PurpleMash.

Open the Purple mash 2DO. Make sure you click on the more icon and you will be able to learn even more facts about Isaac Newton. You can also carry out your own research. Click to the left bottom side of the writing sheets to start writing on the task.
