This will take you to the White Rose lessons for Summer Term 1 – these are the maths plans we follow in school, so you’ll be very used to the different methods and diagrams they use.

Watch the video slides – pause and rewind as you need to. Then, answer the questions on the activity sheets in your exercise book.

The answers are there for you to check, too.

Your screen should display the image below when you get to the website. You can click on the links for the activity sheets and answers.

Lesson 2 – What do Plants need to grow? (Ongoing project)

In today’s lesson you are going to learn about what do plants need to grow well.  You are going to set up your own science investigation at home if possible.  This will be an exploring and observing investigation, so you can see what happens to your plants in different conditions.

I have attached the PowerPoint below and an Investigation sheet which you will complete.

You will observe your plant regularly and see if you notice anything.  If you do observe anything happening or changing, record it on your Recording Results Sheet.  This will be an ongoing project, so be patient Year 3 to see your results. J

Once you click on the PowerPoint, this is what your screen should display.
