Lesson 2- Multiply 3-digit number by 1-digit number
Today, as you have been used to doing, you will first need to visit the White Rose website for the video slides, and worksheets. (I’ve also put the question sheet and answer sheet below.)
You can also visit the BBC Bitesize website for an extra video on today’s maths lesson (Tuesday 5th May).
The links are below:
When you click on the White Rose link, this is the video you should see. The worksheets you need to complete are also there but I have downloaded them for you below.
Just a reminder – the idea is that the BBC provides further support to help you learn, you will still need to complete the White Rose question sheet, and as always, you can check your answers.
Today, we’re going to be looking at reading comprehension with a focus on inference.
Click on this link for the lesson: INFERENCE
There are several activities within the lesson all based on Newspaper Reports. The lessons will look a lot like the lessons you have in school! There are quizzes and videos and whiteboard slides.
Start the lesson with the quiz, you can check your scores, the click on ‘Next Activity’ on the bottom right of the screen. (The quizzes open in a new tab, so if you can’t move on to the next activity, you might need to close that window – ask an adult if you’re unsure.)
When you get to the main activity, there are questions to answer. I would like you to answer these in your workbook and if it’s not too much trouble I’d love to see some of your answers so if you can email a photo of your work to Year4@overseal.derbyshire.sch.uk I would be very grateful.
It’s really important that we keep practising our writing – I imagine, if you’re like me, your handwriting is beginning to slip a little bit. Try really hard today to form letters accurately and to sit it on the line.
The lesson finishes with another quiz.
Today for Topic work I have set a Geography lessons on map reading skills. The link below will take you to BBC Bitesize lessons where you can watch a couple of videos and take part in an activity and quiz!
I'd love to see your Contour Island work so feel free to email a photo of your work to:
I have also attached the activity sheet below:
