Maths: This week our unit on angles continues. We build upon our learning and move on to angles in shapes.

This week every day you need to use The Maths Hub home learning page. You need to select Summer 1 Week 2 because this is the learning we need to cover (don't worry we are not behind) . Today your screen should look like this so make sure you are working from the right page.

Watch the video as many times as you need to. Start the task and then mark your own answers.

Literacy

Today log on to BBC Bitesize. We are continuing to write a thank you letter to an NHS worker or you could choose someone else who you would like to thank.

Watch videos as they will help you see the formal tone that is required for this purpose of writing.

Make you you plan first what each paragraph will be about. Within each paragraph explain your topic using different sentence types.

If you started your letter yesterday, today you can watch today’s videos and then edit your letter. Challenge yourself to use Y6 punctuation.

Email your work to year6@overseal.derbyshire.sch.uk

I look forward to reading them and hope to send some to actual NHS workers.

Make time to read a book today, sit in the garden and relax. Tell your family that that is your work today. Send pictures to my email and I will share them.

Topic: Geography

Last week we started to think about trade and you watched a video and did a quiz. Today log on to this page. Watch the videos again and then move down the page to start to think about the economy. Then open this document

Then there is an import and export task to open and try to have a go at on your own paper.
