You will need a pencil, paper, colouring pens/pencils and a teddy talk partner.

**Today, you will be designing sweets! **

** Design your own sweet and write labels.

What will it taste like? What will it look like? What effect will your sweet have? **

Things to remember to be a good writer:

  • Think about your letter formation (use letter families poster)
  • Are there any phase 3 digraphs/digraphs you can use in the words? (You could use your phase 3 sound mat)

Maths: Counting objects up to 20

You will need 20 objects for counting, a container and a number line up to 20.

** Today you will learn to count objects accurately. You will also use a number line to 20 to find one/two more and one/two less. **

Now take turns to ask and answer questions using your number line. Make sure that you ask some questions too so that you are using the star words.

Which number is one/two more than…?

Which number is one/two less than…?

Use your careful counting finger

Only count when you’ve touched the object

Can you be a superstar learner and use the star words today?
