Non Chronological Report Writing

Today we will be completing our non-chronological reports.

Read what you have already planned or written; read a non-chronological report to remind you what features they have; look at the Success Criteria check list; maybe you could watch yesterday’s powerpoint again; have fun!

I’d like for you to either write your report in your exercise book or to type it.

Whichever you have decided to do, please remember I want to see how you have got on, so send it to me at:

Welcome to Wellbeing Friday!

Being Brave and Becoming Resilient

Today, we’re going to be considering what it means to be brave and how we can become resilient.

What does it mean to be ‘brave’?

How do people show that they are brave?

What is resilience?

How do people show that they are resilient?

Watch the Beano Powerpoint below, working your way through it.

If the video won’t play, follow this link. (It is the same video as the last Beano activity).

https://youngminds.org.uk/resources/school-resources/beano-resilience-lesson-plans/

Then, you can have a go at completing the resilience sheet below.

It asks you to consider how you could be more resilient at school, but you could also think about how you could be more resilient right now, as we continue to be faced with the challenges of the virus.
