Arithmetic – Test 6
It’s that time of the week again – Friday means Arithmetic!
Test 6 today – good luck!
Are you improving over the week?
Are there any methods or types of questions you are unsure of? Or equally, are there any methods or types of questions you are brilliant at?
Arithmetic Test 6
Friday 5th June
Literacy
TBAT use appropriate vocabulary.
https://www.literacyshed.com/diving-giraffes.html
Watch the video once more. This time, though, I want you to imagine that it’s not a tower of giraffes. Perhaps it’s a herd of hippo’s or a gaggle of geese, or a flock of sheep?
How different would the event look if it were the other animals taking part in the diving?
How would it be different – more or less graceful? Elegant? Streamlined?
Your task is to make a list adjectives and/or adverbs to describe the giraffes dives, movements etc, then repeat for a different animal – try to choose an animal where they are very different and contrasting.
e.g.
Giraffes: graceful, elegant, streamlined etc
Hippo’s: chunky, lumbering, flopping etc
I can't wait to read your descriptions - send them to me at:

Welcome to Wellbeing Friday!
Emotions
Today, we’re going to be considering emotions.
What are they?
When do we feel them?
How do we express our emotions?
Watch the Beano Powerpoint below, working your way through it, then you can have a go at the Emotions Board Game with someone in your house and the Emotions Word Search.
If the video link in the powerpoint doesn't work, try this:
