Our Author of the Moment!

Our Author of the moment is Piers Torday who has written The Last Wild. Ask Jake Geering about his books as he has read them.

Blurb: In a world where animals no longer exist, twelve-year old Kester Jaynes sometimes feels like he hardly exists either.  Locked away in a home for troubled children, he’s told there’s something wrong with him.  So when he meets a flock of talking pigeons and a bossy cockroach, Kester thinks he’s finally gone a bit mad.  But the animals have something to say…

Our Class book!

As a class we try to grab whatever time we can to read Stormbreaker by Anthony Horowitz, a book about a teenage spy called Alex Rider. Remember you can bring your own Stormbreaker text to read along with us, or if you are enjoying this text, you would probably enjoy others by Horowitz.
